Jared, opening a birthday present...
My oh my, my little man is 4 years old!….. When did that happen? Seems like just yesterday we were bringing home our first little angel from the hospital. How I’ve loved being home home with him (and his brother and sister) these last 4 years. Watching him grown and learn so much. He is truly a wonder!
Jared just loves country music. His favorite singers include Toby Keith, Alan Jackson and Brooks and Dunn. He sings along to the songs playing on the radio, and can tell me if he hears songs from any of the above. His favorite song is, “Should Have Been A Cowboy”, by Toby Keith.
Jared has learned to write his name. Because he is left handed he had been having trouble learning how to hold the pencil, and writing in the right direction. But once he had it down, he picked it up very quickly.
Jared says that when he grows up he’s going to be an airplane pilot… Of course he used to say he was going to be a truck driver like Daddy, then it was a doctor, then a dentist, and he even said he wanted to work with tools. It will be interesting to see what his real choice will be.

Three months old
Alicia just keeps growing and growing! At 3 months she is 24 1/2 inches long and weighs 11 pounds and 6 ounces. She is in the 90% for height and the 40% for weight.
She started to sleep through the night at 11 1/2 weeks, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! She is SUCH a good baby! She goes to bed at about 8:15, and is now putting herself to sleep. This is very important to me, as it helps prevent sleeping problems later. She usually gets up between 6:30 and 7:00 the next morning.
She is smiling more and more, and wanting to interact more often. She doesn’t like to be held as much as the boys did, and she insists on sitting up in your lap, where she can look around the room. A cuddler she is not. What she really likes is to be lying on the floor, where she can stretch and kick.
One more month and I get to start her on solids, that should be fun!
