Joshy :: 3 Years Old

Man, Oh Man…. Can you believe that Josh is 3 years old???

He’s still our little cuddler, and still doesn’t want to grow up. He still insists that he is a “Little Boy” when you tell him that he’s getting big. His vocabulary has completely taken off, and everyone can understand him. At Church he is very well behaved, and takes part in things. He was even invited by Jared’s Pee Wee leader to join the club on Wednesday nights, even though he’s technically not old enough yet.

Sometimes we worry about him, because he just doesn’t seem to have the same energy level as Jared and Alicia. He wears out quickly, and required a lot of sleep. He also tends to get sick more often, and take the longest to get over things. I plan on keeping a close watch over him for the next few months, then talking to the doctor about his next visit.

We have started a little Homeschool Preschool with Josh, and he is learning a lot. He can spell his name, count to 13 and say his ABCs. He knows some of his shapes, and a few of his colors. This seems to be his stumbling block. Daddy is slightly color blind, and we’re wondering if Josh is too. He is also learning to write his name, but the letter “S” is getting the better of him! ;) Poor kid! He does a very good “J” and “O” though.
