Conversation of the day (from last night):

Mommy: “Today is your last day of being 5, tomorrow you are going to be 6 years old!”
Amanda: “Oh good. I am bored of being 5.”

I wanted to drop in and wish my precious Pixie-Pooh a very happy birthday! My baby is 6 years old today.

SIX!

When on earth did that happen?

Amanda is an absolutely adorable little girl. She is a ray of sunshine, and you can’t help but smile when she is around. She’s so cute, and she will do Whatever. It. Takes. to be the center of attention. *lol* (Reminds me of her Daddy. ;) )

I don’t know what I would do without my little snuggle-bug… Amanda loves being the “baby”, and will still let me baby her at times. :D She loves nothing more than when I scoop her into my arms and sing to her, as if she were still a baby. (She must be desperate for the attention, because I really don’t sing that well. *rofl*)

She has a doll that has a recorder in it. She loves it when I sing her this little verse into that recorder (to the tune of Oh Christmas Tree):

Oh Pixie Pooh,
Oh Pixie Pooh,
How I Love You
Oh Pixie Pooh

She will take the doll to bed with her, hug it tight, and play the recording to herself. :)

The recording never lasts though, as one of the other kids always records over it… In fact, I think I want to go to Build-a-Bear and do a simple bear up and get one of those recordable sound boxes and sing that into it for her, for Christmas.

Anyway…
